8th International Congress of Autism

31.8.-2.9.2007, Oslo, Norja

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, the Members of the Scientific Committee, Autism Association of Norway and Autism Europe it is with great pleasure that we welcome you to Oslo for the 8th International Congress of Autism.

We are proud to be able to continue the tradition of the congress as an interdisciplinary forum for communicating scientific advances and emerging issues. The motto for the 8th International Congress is: “A World of Possibilities”. The size of the congress makes it ideal for the development and continuation of friendships both professionally and socially. In addition to the exciting scientific program planned, there will be memorable social events for participants and accompanying persons.

Oslo - the capital of the Kingdom of Norway - has many cultural attractions and sights and is surrounded by magnificent scenery from the fjord to the forested hills. Museums and art collections of international fame depict the history of the city, such as the Munch museum, Vigeland Park and the Nobel Peace Center. The centre of Oslo is small and shopping areas and entertainment are within walking distance.

The congress will be held at the Norway Convention Centre located midway between the airport and the city centre. A block of rooms have been reserved at special rates for participants at hotels nearby.

We look forward to welcoming you to the 8th International Congress and wish you a fruitful meeting and a pleasant stay in Oslo.
